Many families
struggle because of losing jobs, fires, and / or hardships. We are
able to assist them with payment on utility bills, food, clothing, and
medications with the following major illness categories: Asthma,
Hypertension, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Mental Illness, Seizures, and
Cholesterol.We serve about 200 families a month.
Clients may call for an appointment on Tuesday or
Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m.
Thrift Store
Shoppers at CSS Thrift Store enjoy low
prices and quality merchandise. Store hours are 10:00 a.m. to 3:00
p.m., Monday thru Friday.
Donations of clothes, linens, furniture
and household items are received 5 days a week with an average of 6
donations a day. Donations are categorized and examined for damage
then priced by volunteers. Thrift Store Volunteers contribute over
280 hours of service each month.
Direct Aid supplies vouchers for people
in need of clothes and household items. An average of $500.00 is
distributed to families in need by using these vouchers.
