St. Margaret’s Services for the Elderly receives grant

Last year, the St. Margaret’s Services (SMS) Elderly Outreach Program received a grant from a local organization for the physical well-being of the elderly and renovation of the SMS offices. Zumba sessions were provided for the seniors to have them get out, move, and meet other seniors. The grant allowed us to renovate our SMS office to provide a more pleasant environment for our clients, Zumba Classes for Seniors, help with food packing and gift wrapping. Our offices now look very bright and welcoming! Our seniors were very appreciative of the program and are looking forward to the next Zumba session.

We are happy to announce that once again, St. Margaret’s Services was awarded with another grant for the assistance of the senior clients. Currently, St. Margaret’s Services serves 103 seniors in the Montgomery area between the ages of 60-94. St. Margaret’s Services will continue to provide tremendous services as well as look for ways to improve the services for the senior clients and the community.
