A group of 25 high school students from Belmont Hill School, Massachusetts decided to spend their spring break by volunteering. The all boys private school has been doing this for four years now, and each year, they choose a new city to go and serve for a week. This year, they chose to go to Montgomery, Alabama. One of the places that they served was our very own Catholic Social Services. They were welcomed by our Director, Deacon Raymond Gueret in the afternoon of March 16. The students were given tasks like stuffing envelopes, moving furniture, yard work, and making phone calls. One of them said that most of the students in his school come from very fortunate backgrounds and seeing other places in the country is eye opening. He loves volunteering and this was his third year to serve. The students went back to Massachusetts on Saturday, March 17. Thank you so much to the administration, teachers and students of Belmont Hill School.
